Ook de achterbank zit bijzonder comfortabel en aangenaam. De diverse houtafwerkingen zijn in bijzonder goede conditie en geven deze Bentley extra allure. Het dashboard is in bijzonder goede conditie en alle instrumenten werken naar behoren. De diverse chroom- en sierdelen zijn in zeer goede conditie. We overdrijven niet als we zeggen dat het bijzonder aangenaam is in deze bijzonder mooie Bentley S2.

Als we de motorkap opendoen, zien we een zeer goed en zorgvuldig onderhouden motorruimte. Zoals gezegd, deze auto is zeer goed onderhouden, de laatste facturen van Rolls-Royce / Bentley specialist zijn hier bewijzen van. Voor meer bedrijfszekerheid is er een elektronische ontsteking gemonteerd en zijn er verschillende verbeteringen aangebracht, waaronder ook de extra koelventilator. Deze is apart elektronisch te schakelen. En uiteraard is er ook een stroomschakelaar gemonteerd voor het behoud van de accu.

Rijden (of eigenlijk voortbewegen) is heerlijk met deze Bentley S2. Deze auto rijdt zo bijzonder fijn en ook de automatische versnellingsbak schakelt zeer soepel. De remmen voelen stevig en degelijk aan en het sturen gaat heel comfortabel, mede dankzij de aanwezige stuurbekrachtiging. Met deze Bentley S2 rijden, is zonder enige twijfel een heerlijke belevenis. Daarom is deze prachtige luxueuze britse saloon niet alleen bijzonder aantrekkelijk om naar te kijken, maar vooral om in te rijden!

This is not only because of the beautiful and exclusive lines (which is further emphasized by the beautiful two-tone color combination), but also because of the overwhelming luxurious appearance and wonderful driving characteristics.

This beautiful Bentley S2 was produced in 1960 and has been in the Netherlands since 1975. When we open the bonnet, we see a very well and carefully maintained engine compartment. As mentioned, this car is very well maintained, the latest invoices from Rolls-Royce / Bentley specialist are proof of this. For greater operational reliability, an electronic ignition has been fitted and various improvements have been made, including the extra cooling fan. This can be switched electronically separately. And of course, a power switch has also been fitted to preserve the battery.

Driving (or actually moving forward) is wonderful with this Bentley S2. This car drives so exceptionally well and the automatic gearbox also shifts very smoothly. The brakes feel firm and solid and the steering is very comfortable, partly thanks to the power steering. Driving this Bentley S2 is without a doubt a wonderful experience.
